Description:

Before its name change in 2007, the Sommet Center was also known as the Gaylord Entertainment Center and the Nashville Arena. The complex continues to provide top-notch sporting events and entertaining performances, with regular games by the NHL's Nashville Predators, shows for families and concerts by some of the biggest names in pop and country music. The primary venue has seating for up to 20,000 and the smaller Music City Theater seats 5,145 for more intimate performances; there are also meeting rooms available for rent for conferences and conventions. The center is located in The District of downtown Nashville, near the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and numerous restaurants and hotels.
