Description:

Once home to the incredibly popular Grand Ole Opry show, the Ryman Auditorium first opened in 1892 as a live music venue. A site of importance in country music history, the theater has held performances by legends such as Johnny Cash and Reba McEntire and now offers concerts by top names in not only country but also jazz, pop, rock and bluegrass. The National Historic Landmark theater is part of the downtown landscape, located just two blocks south of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
