Not recommended for weddings

I recently was married. I did not arrange floral services until approximately 2 weeks before my wedding. Thankfully, the Blooming Boutique agreed to meet my small floral needs (e.g., bouquet, coursages, boutoonieres, etc). By mere coincidence I saw my bouqet the morning before my evening wedding and learned that some ARTIFICIAL flowers were used in my bouquet which were NOT discussed. Also - the roses were not fresh. It is important to point out that no one called me ahead of time to inform me that the original, fresh flowers would not be used. No one informed the person who picked up the flowers that a change had been made. Thankfully, the artificial flowers were removed, but the bouquet was smaller than promised and arrived late for my pictures. After my wedding, I called to discuss this issue with the florist who had little to no genuine sympathy. He informed me that he had to work until 10:00 at night due to having 3 weddings and since my order came in last, mine was the last to be done. It was my understanding that if someone accepts an order AND the money, that one order should not be treated differently than others. Your wedding day is such a special day - extra stress is not needed, and you want to be able to rely on the services that you have paid for. In my opinion this florist did not respect the special-ness of this day. I am a pretty understanding person, but they did not have the common courtesy to inform me of the change ahead of time. Poor business and I do not recommend them to be a contributing team member on your special day. BEST WISHES!! Dr. R.

Blooming Boutique is located at 4511 Charlotte Ave in Nashville. They are nice and kind, and I enjoy dealing with them. I have only used them by ordering on the phone, so I don't know what their shop looks like. But you know what? I don't care because the arrangement I ordered "site unseen" was outstanding. It was delivered when they said it would be, and I was in awe of it. Their prices are great.I don't think you will go wrong if you choose this florist. It's one of the best, and I recommend it.

I had them send a flower to a friend in a hospital. I placed the order over the phone and was told it would probably be sent the next day. I went to visit my friend the next morning and it had already arrived and it was beautiful. I would trust them to send a quality product out.
