Nothing to shop for gifts....flowers only and their specialty is daisies and carnations with lots of babies breath. I like on- trend designs NOT my great-grandmother's flower designs!! Still shopping for a decent flower shop in the Nashville area.

I have been (as well as my mom/dad/grandparents) a customer of Lois Hody and have always been satisifed. However, this time was different. I had ordered flowers for my daughter who had gone under surgery. I asked for bright (pinks, yellow, whites) flowers. When I found out that she would be staying at my house, I ask that the flowers be re-routed to my house. "No problem", is what I was told. The next day, the flowers were delivered to my house....ONLY TO BE BY A DIFFERENT FLORIST (SPRING HILL FLORIST). The flowers where not anywhere NEAR what I had asked for and quite honestly paid for!! (Over $50). They were a fall coloring - basically 5/6 flowers with so much greenery!! I was upset, first about how the flowers turned out and then the dishonesty of Lois Hody. At no time, was I told that a different Florist would be used. When I called the florist that delivered them ( Spring Hill Florist) and expressed my dissatisfaction...I was told that they would pick them up and re-deliver another bouquet. I did not want that and I wanted them to refund my money. They said I needed to contact Lois Hody. I did just that, only to be told by the lady who knew I was upset, "that I obviously would not be "happy" with anything I would recieve".. Whatever happened to "100% Customer Satisfaction"!! I will NEVER use this florist again - nor Spring Hill Florist. When Spring Hill Florist picked them up...I expressed my dissatisfaction and commented that they were "not bright enough". She told me that I must be have failed eyesight!. Neither florist will be ever used again...I am not the type of person who generally complains about things, but this time it was different.

Best Service, Best Florist. I was very pleased with both the quality of flowers and the service at Flowers by Louis Hody. I would highly recommend them.
